Accessibility Statement

We build and maintain this website using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our working standard, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task. We are describing our own practices and goals here. We are not claiming legal ADA compliance, conformance certification, or the results of a formal third-party accessibility audit, because no such audit has been completed for this site.

• A “skip to main content” link and a single main content area on every page
• Text, buttons and key graphics chosen for readable contrast against their backgrounds
• Status, selection and error states shown with text, icons or underlines — not by color alone
• One clear page heading per page, with headings in a logical order
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful job photos; decorative icons hidden from screen readers
• Links and buttons labeled by what they do, instead of vague text like “click here”
• Navigation, the mobile menu, the photo gallery, filters and the estimate form all operable by keyboard
• A visible focus outline so you can always see where you are on the page
• Form fields with visible labels, plain-language help text, and errors announced and described in words
• Large tap targets on phones, and layouts that reflow without sideways scrolling when zoomed
• Restrained motion with no flashing, and animation reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion
• Phone number, email, service area and hours available as real text, never only inside an image

Before launch we ran an automated accessibility scan across every public page and manually tested the navigation, the main call-to-action and the estimate form with a keyboard. We repeat these checks when we make significant changes.

Some areas may still fall short of our goal:

• Older job photos may have shorter alt text than we would like, and we improve them as we revisit the gallery.
• Customer reviews are quoted from Facebook, so we cannot change how they are presented on Facebook's own site.
• Content on third-party sites we link to, such as Facebook, is outside our control.
• Any video we publish is expected to include captions; if you find one without them, tell us and we will add them or provide a text summary.
